about

The Fol Film Festival is an open-air event organised by Folle Béton over three evenings. The 2021 edition will take place the 6, 7 and 8 October at the École des Arts-Décoratifs de Paris.

This festival aims to defend young experimental film creation, and in particular the productions of video artists who are students or graduates of European art schools.

The films are chosen for their ability to develop new forms of expression using the moving image, with or without a narrative framework. The selection does not follow any theme, other than the constraint of a duration of less than fifteen minutes. The previous edition had 150 applications from all over Europe for about twenty selected films. The 2021 edition will present about thirty films.
